The Madison Hotel Offers the Ultimate Romantic Escape in February

MEMPHIS, Tenn. Jan. 28, 2003 - Downtown Memphis' newest luxury hotel is offering the ultimate romantic escape during the month of February. From upscale, intimate dining to an overnight stay in a luxurious suite or guestroom, The Madison Hotel has everything to make it the perfect place to celebrate true love.

Packages offered by the hotel include a top-notch Dining Experience where guests can enjoy the serene ambiance of an elegant guestroom before strolling downstairs for a superb dining experience in the Grill 83 restaurant. Chef Burk Wolf will delight guests with a three-course dinner carefully paired with complementing wines. This package price is $185 per person for double occupancy.

Or for the ultimate evening of romance, guests are encouraged to try The Madison's Romance package, which includes accommodations in a deluxe room complete with fresh cut flowers, a scented candle, two sensual oils, and an exquisite bottle of Champagne. As the evening approaches, sweethearts can take a 30-minute carriage ride through Downtown Memphis followed by an exquisite candlelight, three-course dining experience in the privacy of the room. The package is priced at $235 per person for double occupancy.

For those couples who would rather celebrate in warmer weather, The Madison Hotel also offers gift certificates for dining and hotel accommodations.

"We are encouraging couples to take advantage of all that The Madison has to offer during this Valentine's season," says Donna Pope, director of sales for The Madison Hotel. "When it comes to romance, there is no other place like The Madison. The hotel's elegant atmosphere is enough to put any couple in the mood for romance. We have everything - fine dining, upscale accommodations and the privacy of Downtown Memphis' only small luxury boutique hotel."
